Mr. János Simon - Managing Partner of TRIEMC GmbH

As a highly skilled Energy Expert and due to his activities in leading positions in the energy, the automotive and paper industry and in the range of corporate venture capital at different German and international companies, Mr. Simon is handling core special positions in the DEG consortium. He is an Investor and Managing Partner of TRIEMC GmbH.

Earlier, Mr. Simon was at home in the automotive, the paper and the component producer and supplier industries. In 2000, his start-up company, developing IT technologies for the support industries, was sponsored by personalities such as Dr. Heinz Dürr, Dieter Pötsch (VW AG) and Michael Rogowski (Voith GmbH), which gave him the opportunity to gain insight into the global industries and its value creation chain and to amplify his contacts in these fields.

In his former position as a general manager and officer with statutory authority at Fichtner Management Consulting AG, his focus was on strategy and management consulting in the energy sector, including political and economical topics. In addition, he was responsible for the strategic and operative project management and has several years of experience in central and complex project assignments, process management and its improvement methods.

His skills include business development, market expansion, project work, business as well as personnel management, strategy development and its implementation, experience in handling national and international teams, companies and investors. Also trends and developments of the national and international energy market and their strategic relevance for the energy transition and for the decentralized power supply, digitalization, e-mobility are best known to him.

The projects include innovation management, integration processes consultancy and quality and process management in the wind power field at Suzlon / Repower in 2006/2007.
He also developed strategies for finding industry partners at Land Berlin within the Berliner Energiewende 2050. His key tasks were the evaluation of enterprise models and processes, future technologies and systems and their interaction. The results of the project served as a basis for the political leadership and the strengthening of future strategies of the state Berlin in the energy sector.

He also supervised the strategy development and the implementation and buildup of project management at a leading energy supply company. The task contained also the subsequent long-term monitoring of the identified lighthouse projects and an active application of the developed PM methods and tools, strategic and operative project management, multi project management, consulting and leading company PMO.
